Following the success of London's Norma, the bastion of Sicilian food has now opened in Cairo. Atelier Wren's Norma Cairo takes inspiration from the old Moorish architecture that, like its food, gives Sicily such a distinct character.
Green marble and geometric mosaics on the walls are crowned by a vaulted ceiling that bounces light into the space. An open kitchen pass offers diners glimpses of the kitchen as it cooks up gorgeous Sicilian cuisine.

But the rich velvet seats are a nod to Palermo's Teatro Massimo which has regularly shown Felice Romani's opera that gives the restaurant its name.
